The way of the Saracens 1997

Hello, I’m Andrea Demaria, the passion for the bike started in 1997 when the MTB frames was made of steel, cantilever brakes and the tires was made with with rigid bow. With little training, in the same year, I take part in the “Via dei Saraceni” one of the first marathon in Italy of the history of MTB. I always liked the look of the mechanics of the bike, so I always enjoyed the tuning of my bike, also because in the years between 90 and 2000 there were no strong evolutionary as now: the “bicycles lasted more” and the desire to change was satiated by the tuning.

I graduate in computer science at the Faculty of Science M.F.N. of Turin in 2000, and I started my career as an analyst and developer in an ICT multinational. The bike becomes pure passion, I spent every moment of my free time on the saddle or to disassemble and reassemble MTB! Later in TIM, where I held the role of Technical Project Manager coordinating resources and projects of national relevance within the function of network engineering and services. In parallel I started the training course to become a guide of MTB and Maestro di MTB: From 2012 I am part of the Staff of the National Academy of Mountainbike and from 2016 I am the post of Maestro di MTB in the Italian Cycling Federation.

The strong evolution of bicycles, both from the point of view of materials and geometries, leads me to specialize in the driving technique and on the world of e-bikes, the new frontier of modern cycling!

My soul neerds from Computer Science, in collaboration with enter company name, leads me to develop SW platforms for the management of tourist flow related to the world of bicycle.

An assurance and a first aid training covers my activities.
